The Roses of Bronte Harbour

The Roses of Bronte Harbour

Ice. Cold. Winter. Bronte Harbour. In a deep sleep. The ice surface quietly witnessing the bare facts. There was a man walking outside. He seemed lost. His thoughts were elsewhere. His clothes grey. His mood too. If his heart would have been a wall, there would have been no decoration. Invisible paintings. A wonder that his heart was still beating. His memories were frozen. Ice cubes in the shape of a heart. Terrible situation. The birds in the naked trees were crying. Their tears became one with the ice surface. Lonely outside. Dark and cold.

Some roses dared to escape. When nobody watched. For a moment. They never moved forward. They gave up. They did not have the courage to express how they really felt. Anxious. Terrified. Afraid to feel the warmth. Scattered on the surface. Bodies left in pain. Less fragrance. Other roses lost their complete essence. Captured. Just like that. To weak to resist the aweful circumstances. The wind was sad. Extremely sad. Most of its force gone. Unnoticed it moved some old leaves around. Not joyful at all. No sun. No light. Bronte Harbour was a place to avoid.

The man continued his path. His shadow was following him. Cruel to observe. When the man approached the ice surface, he stopped walking. Smoking a cigarette. Just enough fire to enjoy the experience. His eyes were absent. No smile. Pale. He coughed. Throat dry. His nose was infected. He tried to find something to clean his nose. The cigarettes escaped. Landing on the ice surface. One rose saw it all happening. She sat almost perfect on top of the ice. In life all events are connected.

The little rose had been waiting for this opportunity to free herself from the ice surface. She looked at the man. With starry eyes. Shining. Her perfume was delicious. She offered a little gift of her fragrance to him. He bowed to catch the cigarettes. They were discovering the ice. She had the courage to jump on his hand when he tried to take the cigarettes back. Fingers trembling. Then he sensed something warm. Not experienced since years. He was chocked. Could not find a way to deal with it. The rose gave him some love. Pure love.

The heart of the man understood this sudden signal. It began to expand. Blood running through his veins. Soul long ago. The rose kept on giving love. Unconditionally. A miracle. His face began to change. A sparkle of happiness returned. His eyes looked around. With a bit of joy. The birds regained confidence. There was hope. A song composed. Very slowly the notes left the birds. Higher tones. Special vibrations. Love frequencies. All around. The naked trees watched the scenes. More hope. More love.

The sun started to shine. The ice melted. All the roses could be saved. The memories of the man returned. In his heart an image of the woman he loved soul deeply. The love of his life. He believed that she did not love him. So he said goodbye. Long ago. False interpretation. Now his beliefs were cleaned. Soul worthy. With new eyes he found love in her answers and actions. He regretted the story of the past. He prayed that he could make one wish. To be together with his true love. Again.

The universe was listening. Divine grace. Time for a touching miracle. The next moment she was in his arms. Their kiss was so charming that the roses cried. For happiness. A dream had come true. Soul love. Authentic and true. Even the moon and the stars felt the divine chemistry. Oh my God. Confirmed. Faith moves mountains. Fear is just an illusion of the ego mind. Always shift back to love. Wholehearted love - passionately kissed by faith - is the key to accept and allow the manifestation of an abundant life. Oh my darling. What a feeling. Yeah! Let us dance on the ceiling!

A wonderfully romantic story . I have to admit that the backstory I saw when I photographed the roses was nowhere near as romantic. Other photos of the roses are on my Flickr Stream: https://www.flickr.com/photos/kwpashuk/32045953562/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/kwpashuk/31388268863/ ... and of course, the one that inspired the story. https://www.flickr.com/photos/kwpashuk/32152180196/
