They Loved Through Darkness And Light

When they met, the world stood still. It was silent. No bird dared to move a feather. The forest was dark. Their eyes crashed on each other's soul. There were survivors in this ultimate crash. Two persons. Both of them. They had to go through the whole journey to learn from it all. Dying was no option after the crash, that would just have been the easy road. He haunted her in a way that has not been seen before. She did the same without being aware of it. They were just so fond of each other. Yet, there was no light at all to give them faith in a good outcome.

He tried to surround her with all kind of negative vibes, she took it in for a while. Then she just sent the same amount of darkness back. He took it in for a while. They confused dark behavior with loving light. He could not live without her. She could not spend one day without him. Their passion for each other was higher than the blue sky. He tried to change for her, he could not. She tried to modify her art for him. She failed. They cried black tears when they were alone. Sad about the way things went. On and on.

Sometimes he tried to give her some light. But that felt unreal. It made him sick from the inside out. He wanted to be true to himself since he spent so much time in the dark. He did it for her, yet it wounded him more than he admitted. She could not accept the light as she did not recognize the frequency. They were not aligned in those moments. They became frustrated and angry. The world around them suffered with them. The universe closed its eyes for such disaster. He looked at the sky and wondered why they had to experience this.

She became more beautiful each day as the universe came up with a plan. He developed more wisdom by the minute. Then he decided to take a different path. She missed him. She longed for him as only a soul can do. The sound of silence returned as in the beginning when they met. It hurted so much. He got the chance to dive deep in the matter. There was only one restriction. She could not be part of this. He had to make a choice. He had to focus on him first. She did the same without being aware of it. Only later they would realize that they walked the same journey forever.

The sun came up. The dark place transformed suddenly. She woke up and understood that she had been responsible for all her views all along. A feeling of love opened her heart. She felt warm. He carried the same view now. One bird started to sing. Never before such beauty in a bird's voice was heard. The forest was green. A new door opened. He appeared with a red rose in his hand. His eyes were bright and full of love. She felt dizzy and out of balance. He caught her with ease. Their hearts were on fire. In that precious moment they knew that their love always had been there. They were too blind to see it. She finally accepted the red rose.
