Yes. Chosen. To Be. The One.

The dictionary decided to play a game. An awesome game. A game of words.

The words gathered and listened to the rules of this game.

The rules were simple and clear.

Running wild and free.

All considered to be the best.

But only one could win.

The game of games.

One word.

One game.

The competition started.

All eyes on the price.

There it was.

The winner was chosen.

The crown was ready.

The victory.

Was written in the stars.

The one.

Said.

Yes.

Yes was asked to join the scene.

Courageous it came closer.

Much closer.

All eyes on yes.

Breathtaking truth.

The no's felt dizzy.

So much power.

Oh my God.

Yes, it was.

The other words accepted the case.

This was a special situation.

Nobody could deny the facts.

It was done.

And so it is.

The dictionary closed the competition.

The other words surrendered.

Yes. Yes. Yes.

Oh, yes.

The word was out.

Out on the street.

Nothing more nothing less.

Yes.

Yes.

Yes.

And the no's.

They walked away.

Tails between legs.

Or something similar.

Yes.

True.

Indeed.

Since that moment.

Again and again.

The word turned into a key.

That opened many doors.

To more rooms.

Where yes always felt welcome.

Yes.

The king and the queen.

The one.

Yes.

They voted on whether Leisbeth was a Wordsmith.
Like in the UK Parliament they voted Aye or No
The result came the Ayes have it the Ayes have it
A wag commented the Ayes are above the Noes

I agree great piece Leisbeth.
