How digital signage helps create a picture that paints a thousand words

They say a picture paints a thousand words, and is probably true when it comes to digital signage presentations.

How digital signage helps create a picture that paints a thousand words

On their reception area display screen, at Our Lady's Convent School, they personalise the screen, using Repeat Signage software, to display their logo and a dynamic date. Images are uploaded with captions to give visitors and students a flavour of life at the school - a picture speaks a thousand words!

When they have time, the receptionist updates the screen weekly with a mixture of photos from the previous week, to keep it fresh and the details of events and activities happening that week.

When time is tight, such as in busy terms, they periodically create a scrolling picture show which illustrates the range of activities, ages and genders they welcome into their school.

"We think Repeat Signage is marvellous. We’re delighted with the support offered and when we’ve encountered a glitch their team have bent over backwards to help.

"The software is so easy to access and change that if we have a VIP visiting, I can quickly format the screen to welcome them, making it an extra special welcome".

Repeat Signage software is easy to use, you download onto a Windows computer, insert your logo, images, videos, documents and other media to create your presentations, which can be scheduled to be displayed at different times of the day or week. For example, displaying student artwork in the morning, menus at lunchtime, video of drama classes or sports day in the afternoon and messages for parents at home time.
