The True Essence of beBee and What It Means To Me

The True Essence of beBee and What It Means To Me

I had to put some thought into what it is I love about beBee and  Social Media. It seems my answers would come easily, and they did!

I'd like to start off with my life outside of Social Media because I do have one and it would be safe to assume most of us do.

I grocery shop every few days because I love to cook and many times I spend *time* while sipping on my morning cup of Java surfing the internet for recipes that stir my senses and make my mouth water. After I find a few recipes, I make a list of ingredients I will need to purchase so I can experiment with yet, another new recipe. Many times I find a recipe and end up tweaking it. We grow vegetables and herbs, so I make sure to snip or pick a few to incorporate into my afternoon cook-a-thon.

I read our very boring, thin paper which usually does nothing to inform me of real life issues. It usually takes me about 3 minutes to read the paper, OK- I skim it, then trash it! I scratch my head wondering why we waste our money on a paper that would be better suited for puppy training?

Once my head feels clear I begin to make business calls on behalf of my husband, run errands for the company, go over invoices, along with many more mundane tasks I won't bore you with.

I can't leave the house until my bed is made, the kitchen is clean and my house is tidy And, there's this thing called a shower I need to take. Did I mention my dog is OCD and I'm going to guess he goes to the door at least 5 times or more before noon because he likes to keep me on my toes?  He loves to sun but the older he's become he just doesn't get it if the sun isn't out and rain is coming down. He's 13.5 years old. Finally, I leave the house to run errands, stop by my husband's office to meet with him just to make sure I finalize my 'girl Friday' chores each day too. I also stop by my daughter's home after calling since she just had a baby 8 weeks ago and try to help her out if needed. My last stop after hitting the store- my friend's home to check in on her. The day seems to go by fast. It's then time to make dinner, clean up and finally, I sit down to catch the nightly news. I refuse to watch the 24/7 news cycle shows. I spend a small amount of time on Social Media during the day, the majority of my time is spent on Social Media after 9-10pm. Ahh, finally... downtime!  So, if I miss something you really want me to see and would like reposted please inbox me. I will do my best to get to it when I can, I get a lot of requests :)

So, why do I LOVE beBee and my Social Networking?

What defines us is

AR IB ER

CHEB EIR ES

PIN C2

Many of us myself included love to interact with people outside of our normal yet, routine days. For me, it's a time to just let my hair down and unwind, period.  I'm not selling a product and I'm not proclaiming to be an intellect with answers to many questions people may have. I love to learn about others, their cultures, hear of their happiness, lend an ear if someone is going through a tough time and even laugh.

I love the diversity beBee offers, which is why I LOVE the idea of affinity networking.  Many of you that have gotten to know me realize I love taking photos. I may not be a professional but it's my form of meditation and fun.  I love to listen to music and I've found some really cool groups I've never heard thanks to all the music videos that are posted. I love to view other's photography, it really does something to lighten my senses. Photos bring me to a happy place in my mind. I love reading diverse stories.

There are some people who don't care for memes and that's OK but I enjoy many memes, again this fits well with affinity networking. I haven't noticed a hive for memes, maybe someone would be interested in creating a hive? I would post memes if there were a meme hive!

I like intellectual conversations but more so, I enjoy stories. There are so many wonderful story tellers on beBee and I feel I really get to know a person on a much deeper level when they share their personal stories. I enjoy when someone is enlightening us about their product or business but also adds a story with a personal perspective as well.

I have met many wonderful new friends on beBee and have even chatted on the phone with some of you. I will be skyping with a few people this week from beBee and I look forward to it. A few of us even scheduled a skype call for Saturday, just to chat and share fun stories.

beBee has something to offer everyone. Everyone is important on beBee and beBee has made that abundantley clear since day one. I can attest to the fact that Javier Carmara, Juan Imez, and their entire team have worked harder than we can probably imagine to make sure beBee surpasses their original goals. I am glad to be a part of this network which does not discriminate. I'm glad I have met so many beautiful souls on beBee.

I wish beBee much success to come and I look forward to the many new features beBee has been working diligently on. One last thing, when beBee states it's going to produce and/or make changes, we can always count on it. They have proven they are true to their word.

I'm very proud to be a part of this growing network. beBee will continue to grow and I'm excited for them and for us. We are a global community and it's a privilege that I'm learning so much more about the world around me as well!

ha ha, he still has it and now he has dementia which is fairly evident at night. The dementia makes me sad and I really don't know what to do for him. If he could only talk but then again he might say some crazy stuff at his age now ;-) I can't believe I wrote this a year ago, reminds me how much spunkier my dog was just a year ago.

Hi Wayne Yoshida, glad to know all is well! I wasn't sure if I was just missing you since I'm usually on late at night and I was fairly inactive for almost 2 weeks. Maker Faire looks like fun and it's quite large! I'm sure you're very busy with this :)

Hi Lisa \ud83d\udc1d Gallagher, thanks for asking. I was hoping no one would notice my in-activity over the last few days. I've been busy at the office day job plus getting ready for the Bay Area Maker Faire. . . I do need to take a break and let people know I am still alive. http://makerfaire.com/bay-area/

Thanks Franci Eugenia Hoffman, I enjoyed talking to you too! Your a doll :)) Yikes, most of the day waiting on cars, hope they are fixed now. I just bought a few new T-shirts and a pair of lightweight shorts for our Georgia Trip this week. I need to go to Amazon and order a cooling device for my neck. We will be out in the heat until 1pm or after. Looking forward to our trip, love cheering our son on and others. Long over due mini vacay for my husband too!

I hope the humidity won't be extreme, or the day of my son's Ironman event will be one LONG day. I don't do well outdoors all day in heat/humidity. I keep my A/C set at 70 when it's that hot. But I also sleep with my thermostat set at 64-66 degs at night during winter. I'm a hot blooded gal, haha. I can imagine you wouldn't breathe well if you don't have it cooler, the humidity is like a blanket that stifles many people's breathing!

I looked at weather.com for temps next week in Georgia, it says it will be close to 90 each day, ick LOL. We just turned our A/C off a few days ago. Franci Eugenia Hoffman

It's OK, I'm still learning and there is so much I read that I don't understand. I will either ask a question or look something up if I feel it may interest me. Some things, just like anything in life just don't interest me. All the posters, logos, articles etc.. about beBee and even reposting other's content to twitter, LI, FB and more is part of content marketing. All I've known for most of my life is what I learned while working in Respiratory, Cardiac and the Laboratory. I think much of what we learn in healthcare never leaves us. So much of this is very new to me and I will admit, I get stumped many times.

I'm glad this made you feel at home Gerald Hecht and so happy I've gotten to know you on here! Welcome to my virtual theater LOL!! Actually, my favorite room in my home is my small den with pine, I wanted it to have a cabin type of feeling. It does and it's probably very out dated but it's my comfort zone!

ha, yes- it's so exciting Dean Owen! I guess I left out the my mystery side....... nah, no mystery here! Leaving for Georgia in 2 weeks to watch my son compete in Ironman Georgia, that will be fun. Getting away is always fun (except for the packing and unpacking). I'm working on my sleep but have a long way to go, LOL. I just don't get much! *need more*.

Lisa Gallagher I love everything you said about beBee and would vouch for it anyday because that's the same way I feel about beBee. Even I can't count how many times I've smiled and laughed on here at the many lovely buzzes and conversations. It's great to know you reached the phone conversation level with some bees here and that sounds so exciting to me. I must try something like that soon ☺☺☺ I'm too very proud to be a part of this growing network.#beBeesforever

That's what I love about beBee, the platform was created to accommodate many interests! I can't tell you how many times I've smiled and laughed on here. The essence of the users is contagious along with it's founders who care deeply not only about the platform but their users as well. How often do you find that on a social networking site? I can honestly say, this was a first and it continues! By the way, I've noticed a lot of re-shares on your last buzz you posted Deb Helfrich (on twitter and here) :))

I love your style of writing. I agree with you dear Lisa Gallagher on affinity hives and all your other valuable points. It surely adds proof to my buzz of today "Trees Don't Produce Honey" on why beBee is place to convert nectar into honey. We see eye to eye my friend
