It's NOT cricket
At first I thought it was FAKE NEWS !
I thought it was a TRUMPED up charge !
Damned if I comment
Damned if I don't
But simply
It's NOT cricket
I think all Aussies are in shock at this anathema in our sporting ethos
regardless of whether we are cricket fans or not
No action could be further from the collective Aussie consciousness
in LIFE not just sport
Where has commonly decent behaviour gone ?
Please don't gloat my friends
(not meaning y0u are just petitioning in advance)
that's NOT cricket either
What I really think is that all the sporting penalties are too insignificant for the Sporting EGO
They need to hurt more for decency to prevail
If this was my job or your job, we'd be sacked perhaps worse
Sport should not just be about big corporate money , sponsorship , advertising rights , mega salary , endorsements ......
How did I do ?

I agree totally Paul Walters He had everything to gain but chose everything to lose I think a lot of Aussies are in disbelief as cheating in Sport is not the norm or something that is culturally acceptable

Unfortunately Pascal Derrien it is often (but not always) the case that sports men are not known for their academic achievement and common sense but for their egos, self perception of being in untouchable positions, self entitlement ...... Even more unfortunately is that often (but not always) the sporting bodies that deal with these infractions are made up of men (mostly) who while not having the physical prowess have similar failings as they have invested large sums of money or work at the top of their respective organisations.
