Life is full of surprises!

Life is full of surprises!

It’s 10:30 pm. Time to go to sleep, but before hitting the hay, a little bit more of beBee. My favorite social media platform!

I opened my app on my iPhone. A notification of a new private message? Well, let’s see who’s sending it. Probably a good friend... but... no... wait a second... it’s a stranger!!

Who’s this? I don’t know him! Apparently I decided in some point to follow him back. I don’t remember the moment when I did it. Why? Well, because I really love networking!!!

I do not have any consideration for expanding my network. I like the idea of knowing new people. Who they are, what they do, and specially what they think and how they see life. It’s really interesting!!

But in this case... I don’t like what I received today:

Definitely, this looks like scamming!!! And he’s on beBee!!!! This is a big no-no!!

I was surprised!

I’m calling 9🐝🐝!!!

We all know that Life is full of surprises. And I like them mostly because they are fun!!!

The other day I sent a PM on beBee to a friend that I don’t know in person yet, but he’s someone who is very popular on social media -beBee and LinkedIn- and hundreds of people love him too!!

We are really lucky having him as a friend!!! So, my message was simple, friendly and mainly SINCERE:

:D

And he replied:

:)))

That was all!! Wasn’t it great? No words were needed to express our friendship and high affinity for each other. I loved it!

We have the privilege to socialize with great people here. Let’s keep our affinity network clean. I think we should report any suspicious activity.

Thank you! :D

#25 Definitely. Although sometimes, with some producers it can be doubted, because people learn. That's why when I doubted, I warned, for those who understand spam on a larger scale, decide. I'm still learning 😉.

#19 ahahaha. You Know what @🐝 Fatima G. Williams?

When we saw spam on the wall, we wrote: anti spam command and we named someone to support. Later I started using a code and the comment number, so they could see it. Like this:
@Federico 🐝 Álvarez San Martín👀19

Could well be a robot positing @Lupita 🐝 Reyes. This is the oldest scam in the virtual books; Nigerian origins.

Way to go @Lupita 🐝 Reyes!! I got a similar approach (he said he knew someone of my surname) early after I joined beBee. Upshot; a death threat that now resides with the police. I reported it on here as a buzz; most commenters berated me for foolishly 'falling foul of a 'Nigerian scammer' , (which I didn't) - odd, as he was white, Portuguese and worked in Dubai. GOOD to hear people reporting any deception - we wanna keep beBee clean!! I applaud you!
