THE MOVE FROM FLORIDA TO NEW LONDON CONNECTICUT

dba85b4a.jpgWhat happened with the Greyhound doesn't matter. Traveling with the Greyhound is like being homeless for a couple days bottom-line, were you end up washing your twat in a public restroom because you have been on a bus three days. What matters is I'm in a new city and it's a trade-up from Bushnell Florida in a BIG way! I feel better here and by better I mean I don't feel like a fish out of water.
1.) New London is a seaport city. Sea air is much better for the lungs than dust balls. Bushnell Florida was triggering my allergies. The first few weeks I was their I was chugging cold medicine because I thought I was sick. Than I realized it was allergies. I could barely breathe there. It was so bad, I saw on the news that there had been a number of asthma attacks in the area caused by all the dust in the wind. For my health alone I needed to get the hell out of Bushnell.

2.)The people I live with are hospitable. Maybe it's because I grew up In Virginia, but we treat guest with kindness, catering to their needs and service. When someone first arrives to your home it is polite to offer them food and a beverage. I thought it was really rude, that my new roommate didn't offer me anything to eat when I had been on a bus for three days in Bushnell. My NEW LONDON roommates offered me food right away and continued to offer me food the next day. Yes, I'm a grown woman and it's my sole responsibility to provide food for myself, but I can't live with people who turn the refrigerator into a war zone. I like a more communal free for all fridge, than label everything, but that's just my preference.
3.)I can get around in NEW LONDON. In Bushnell I could not get around and though my new roommate offered to help me get around, it was apparent that she was all talk and no action. In NEW LONDON, I can take a Ferry, bus or train to NEW YORK CITY, for 20, 60 bucks. I don't need help to get around because the public transportation system is decent. In Bushnell Florida, I could barely get to the middle of nowhere for 200 bucks. Literally, there were cows around me and not even a single bus. I grew up country, but I'm a city girl at heart.  I fucking hate mosquitos. I have been living in the city sometime now. When I was younger NEW YORK, was my dream city. It's where I thought I wanted to be. It just feels right to be so close to NEW YORK and have such easy access to it. However, New London is  no way my final destination. I am just landing on my feet after being tangled up with a snake in Bushnell.

By the way this trip was (1,194.2 mi) JOURNEY

Had me confused. You have a map on New London Wisconsin but you are in New London Connecticut! Glad you landed in the latter. I spent some time in New Canaan (about 90 mins away) on tennis camp. Beautiful part of America. Bet you miss the public transport system in Asia now :) Even the rickshaws sound better than Greyhound.
