The Power of Choice: Win or Lose It's Up to You!

Life is crazy and then you die. I wish i could say something more poetic or profound, but life is no great mystery. Life is what we do. Nothing more. Nothing less. The sum of your life is what you do. Everyday we have choices to make. We can engage our coworkers in conversation or sit silently. We can take a stranger in a bar home or keep  our very naked mystery to ourselves. We can get drunk or stay sober. We can be a wallflower or the life of the party. We can take the stairs or the escalator. We can tell our awful boss to fuck off or kiss his ass. We can go for our dreams or sit timid in an office that feels stuffy because we are worried we won't make it in show business. 

Life is the sum of our choices. There are only a few choices that are not in our control, who are parents are or our gender and our nationality, but nowadays we seem to even have control over these once seemingly ingrained matters. With surgery we can change our sex, women can become men and men can become women. We can emancipate ourselves from our parents and we can denounce our citizenship and become a citizen in another country. 

Honestly, I am seriously considering denouncing my American citizenship because the country did not serve me. For some reason it was very hard for me to live in America and I find it much easier to live abroad and in almost every other country, but America. Maybe it's all the American guns, maybe it's all the mental illness, maybe it's the drug addicts, maybe it's the money hungry corporate pigs or Donald Trump, but America was never the land of milk and honey for me.

What is my beautiful point? I choose to leave America. I choose to move to Nanning China, which I will tell you about it later.. I chose an adventure instead of an office and now I am looking to open my own fashion line and eCommerce store. These are choices.

 People usually don't become successful by accident. People usually don't get fit and in incredible shape by accident. People don't usually get married by accident. These are choices. From the moment we first connect with our significant other we have a choice to say hi, or pretend like we don't see them. We have a choice to act on our desires or deny them. We have a choice to make friends or to live in solitude. 

Great musicians choose to be great. It's not just a matter of talent. It's a matter of devotion to a craft. Developing a skill is a choice. It's a choice to pick up the guitar everyday or leave it in the closet and let it collect dust. With that being said, what we purchase is a choice. How we spend our money is a significant choice. Where we work, even if you hate your job, is a choice. The irony is the life you might very well hate you designed it by your choices. Got an ugly boring girlfriend, guess what you decided to date her. Hate talking to your mom, then just stop talking to her. Your life is your design and you have great power over it. Honestly, it is all choice and hardwork is the discipline to repeat a good choice over and over agin until we reach our desired results. This is common sense.
