A powerful exercise to control the mind and create the life you want

I share this article as there are many people who ask me constantly on the mind.

only here

You are the creator of your life your achievements for your purposes.

And only you are the master of your thoughts, whether positive or negative understand? (Autorin Maríat Redondo)

There is a very curious fact about the mind: for some strange reason we are convinced that we must use it to think about what is happening to us.

The result of this belief, we use the mind to tell what we are experiencing, as if we were sportswriters. If we hurt the stomach, for example, we started thinking: "what pain I have," "what wrong I meet" to see when it happens to me ", etc.

A powerful exercise to control the mind and create the life you want

And so on.This has a very negative consequences, because as I commented in some recent articles, the mind is the tool that creates reality. So, if we use just to think about what is happening to us, we'll be stuck always living the same situations over and over again. Use the mind in this way, then, it is not advisable. Unless you have special interest in living some certain repeatedly, of course experiences. But usually, this is often not the case. If we want to live a full, dynamic and rich life in new and interesting experiences, the best way is to learn to think, not what is happening to us, but what we want to pass. We must learn to control the mind to tell you what we think. We must think deliberately about how we want our life. Today I want to talk about how. It's not easy, but it is not as difficult as we think. And I propose a small exercise to facilitate even more. Controlling the Mind The basic idea to control the mind is very simple: decide how you want your life and think about it deliberately. In practice, however, doing so is not as easy as saying it. We are not accustomed to anything consciously choose what we think, and we find it difficult. But aside from the lack of habit, it really complicates it is a much simpler fact: we are not always clear what we want to pass. That is, the problem is not just the cost to think about what we want, but we do not know what we want. Think for a moment about it: you clear what you want to live the next years? I do not mean if you know more or less where you want your life to go, but if you know exactly what you want. Do you know exactly how you want to evolve your professional life? You know exactly where you want to live? Do you know exactly what experiences you want to have? It is quite possible that the answer is "no". Surely you know that you want to be good, but you have not consciously decided what exactly you want to live. And, of course, if you know exactly what you want, you can not think about it. Imagine someone who wants to build a house without having designed first. Just start putting bricks one above the other hoping that the end will be good. Do you think you will get? Clearly not. To place a house, first must be planned. Well, with your dreams is the same: to make them a reality, you must first design them. So the first step to control the mind is to decide, in as much detail as you can, what life would have. You have to decide clearly what you want to tell your mind what to think. You are the architect of your life, and your mind is working to build it. If the architect does not have a plan, the workers can not do anything good. Decide Live Life You Want So, your number one goal should be to be clear about how you want your life: where to live, what job you want to do, how much money you earn, what kind of relationship you want to have, etc. To achieve this, I propose a very simple exercise: take a sheet of paper and divide it into four parts (I say four say a number, but can be three, five or fifteen, as you like). In each part, type a title that refers to an area of your life: health, housing, professional life, family, children, friends, spiritual life, etc. Choose the most important to you, and choose as many areas as you want. Four okay to start, but if you want to do more, for more. Once you have it, meditate for a while about how you want your life in every area you have chosen, and write it on paper. If one of the areas you have chosen is housing, for example, think about how you want exactly where you want to live. If another area is the partner, think about what kind of romantic relationship you want to have. And I put it in writing. It is very important that you do as much detail as you can, but we must not force him more than necessary. For example, if you want to go to live abroad for a while, but you do not care where, no need to force yourself to think about which country to visit. However, if the particular country itself is important, then write it down. It may cost you a bit and some things have not entirely clear. It's normal, it happens to everyone. If you want, you can let it sit a bit and finish another day. Or you can make a first draft, and irla outlining later. The most important thing is that either today or be within a few days, you end up with a very specific list of how you want your life to evolve. So, from now you'll know what you think. When you're done, you'll see clearer why do not yet have the life you want: you had simply not clearly defined. You were an architect without plane. How to Build the life you want Once you have your list, your main task in life is to think about it. Whenever you have a moment, think about the life you want: think about the type of relationship that you want to have in the house where they want to live, work where you want to work, etc. It is simply a change of chip: instead of thinking about what is happening to you, think about what you want to happen to you. Until now it was very difficult, because you had not defined clearly what you want, but now you can. Now you have a list that says clearly where you direct your thoughts, and you can use as a guide. Whenever dawdle, take it and think about it again. Obviously it is not easy. In fact, it is virtually impossible to get from one day to another. For this reason, it is much better as a medium-term objective. It's like jogging: the first day you get tired a lot, also the second and the third seems to always be the same and that running is not for you. But if you have a little perseverance, the fourth and you get tired a little less, and fifth even less. And after a few days even you start to enjoy. For the process to learn to control the mind is the same. At first it is frustrating because it seems that you do not advance, but with will and patience, gradually improving. It is a small effort worthwhile, because the reward is the life you want. And the alternative ... alternative already know, right? \",

Controlling the Mind

The basic idea to control the mind is very simple: decide how you want your life and think about it deliberately.

Decide Live Life You Want

So, your number one goal should be to be clear about how you want your life: where to live, what job you want to do, how much money you earn, what kind of relationship you want to have, etc.

When you're done, you'll see clearer why do not yet have the life you want: you had simply not clearly defined. You were an architect without plane.

How to Build the life you want

Once you have your list, your main task in life is to think about it.
