In brevity, when you do things as you are supposed to do, then it’s simple to reach targets and achieve success. 

Perhaps, the problem is that we, humans fluctuate in our commitments, and with no inclination and sincerity when we take tasks in a trivial manner, then we mess up everything.

For instance, in a manufacturing firm, think of what are the priorities, where are the deficiencies and what solutions are best needed. Well, when a company maintains quality standards and statutes, it can build quality excellence. If the manufacturing controls and standards are in place, then there shouldn’t be any errors or system-based inaccuracies or complications.

When employees randomly adhere to general guidelines, protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs), then things get beyond control. Then, who cares excessive wastage, loss of materials, peoples’ efforts, avoidable overtime or slack performances?

A senior manager, in a company, knew well where discrepancies sprout and in what manner problems show up. Instead of taking bold initiatives and bringing in positive changes, he kept on grudging uselessly in front of others. Simply, some don’t want to take risks for fear of losing their conveniences. 

Or what you say about egoistic employees who have their own likes and dislikes.

It’s a nuisance when an employee doesn’t want to work under a newly promoted manager because he desired that position. Even if there’s relocation for him, bitter feelings are bound to prevail. 

We find silliness everywhere when the whole system isn’t working properly. When everyone is adept in some sort of obstinacy and trickery, then what’s apparent is disordered culture.

A newly appointed manager wanted to bring in some strict changes. He was determined and all alone. But, when he noticed that he cannot discipline the cluttered organization, then he too became lethargic and unproductive. 

Yet, in a simple manner, problems can be solved when we put more commitments and considerations to have major enhancements in overall operations through controlled and organized processes.

It’s a good sign when a company aims to thrive for operational, manufacturing and sales excellence. But, when chaos, deficiencies and issues lag behind, then things move on its own pace. Either performance remains unchanged, with no progress or declines to low levels.

Anywhere and in any sector, without efficiency and hard work, one cannot accomplish integrated goals and expectations.

For desired outcomes and to make a worthwhile difference, you have to embrace professionalism, adopt agile practices, adapt to demanding changes and continue working with commitments and capabilities. 

Once in a week, it’s interesting to have meetings. At least, everyone gets an update on what’s happening around, what’s still pending and what’re the projections. Again, at the top, it’s the management’s authority and responsibility to instigate novel approaches for major advancements, apply key processes in desired segments to set directions and facilitate mechanism for decision-making without delays and interruptions.

If there’s worth of truthfulness, tactics and trustworthiness, why not top management apply these vital elements for more promising and progressive results. It’s easy when things make a start with all seriousness, simplicity and punctuality. Good advice, isn’t it?
