The Complexity of Human Nature

Very often, more than realizing our inner selves, we worry more and think where we stand in our societies and surroundings. Instead of delving into simple truths or knowledge that’s worth for bettering of our lives, we fall into schisms and mistaken affairs. Okay, we’re human beings…but how far we ponder what it takes to be humane.

To be knowledgeable and be aloof from simple wisdom is like accepting half truths and betraying the rest. For example, being aware we accept few things that befit us, and if anything that suits not to our aspirations and liking, we discard it. Diabolic…isn’t that? Perhaps, that’s because we judge, not by reason, but by our whimsical attitude and we gather vain experience by imitations, but not by our perception.

The BIG question is: How much we realize truth as truth by vividly observing, thoroughly feeling and tactically experiencing everything that we see time and space-wise?

Oftentimes, we run our worldly affairs by standards and levels that speak excellence and success. That’s commercial triumph!

But, spiritually, how much we are alive and awake to the faults and falsities, the wretchedness and loss, the affairs and sorrows, the delusions and illusions, the wrongs and divisions, the evils and tyrannies of the world around us? Are we taking lessons, with sensitivity and sensibility, to mend our own lives?

In fact, in celebration of living, we ought to feel fortunate, content and grateful. What we have eaten was all our provision, what we have spent was all our wealth…and the rest didn’t belong to us. Perhaps, we have to realize this that more than wealth, it’s our good deeds that make us virtuous. Sheer greed for wealth makes us wicked…and that’s the precursor to downfall of human nature!

What are the uses of that wealth when it avails nothing and benefits none? A person may be rich and hoard immense wealth, but if he spends not his wealth on the needy and destitute, then that’s totally gross affair. On the contrary, one who knows life’s verity, yet lives like a pauper and enjoys peace, is more privileged.

Ay, to what purpose a person lives when there’s so much of wickedness in him? He pretends to be righteous for an outward show, but, in essence, he lives to the world’s changing ways.

Imagine a person who knows what’s truth and what’s falsehood…but still he loves to live in disgrace and mocks the gracious truths. He rejects honesty and openly embraces corruption to become wealthy and man of the world. What does it all means? 

Is there any flaw in his thinking or is he beguiled by the devil? 

Sometimes, we human beings, wrong ourselves. Because, when we remain in ignorance, we are prone to arrogance and rebellion, and then we become careless most to know the glorious paths.

O, this wondrous man! A piece of dust composed, alters by imagery and fascination, proves impious by mischief and lust, and turns virtuous by worthy deeds. Still, in vileness so shapeless that more than an ugly devil authors works of popular evil.
