How to Develop an Ecommerce Website?

Nowadays most of the people want to start up their own online business, since eCommerce websites makes a successful eCommerce business.

Many people might be aware of creating an Ecommerce website. But, some people may not know about how to develop an Ecommerce websites; this article will be useful for such people.

These are some following steps to develop an Ecommerce website.

1 Decide what product to sell

If you have been extremely extensive to setting up an online store for a while, then you already have a product on your mind. So you can sell it off at a profit. Every online store has to start with a product, so search for best product and make sure your product is viable and get started.

2 Choose your Ecommerce platform

Usually when it comes to Ecommerce, you have two options:

· Using market place that already exists like Etsy or Amazon or

· Manage a website and brand that’s all your own

There are many Ecommerce platforms available, which makes it easy to find compatible eCommerce options, where you can use to work on your websites. In this way you can direct people to your online store.

Ecommerce software like Magento will make it easy for you to list your product, set your price and add a shopping cart to website.

3 Pick domain name

This is the fun part! Brainstorms words and phrases that tell something about the product you will be selling. So, pick a domain name that’s short, simple and describe your business. After that decide on your extension and register with a domain name provider.

4 Set up your account

Before launching your store decide how you will receive payment from your customer. Most of them start up with PayPal or Google checkout, but you also have the option to accept credit cards directly on your sites, which is more professional route

5 Set your pricing

Pricing is the hardest part to start a new business, if you price too low, you’ll lose money or just highly break even. If you price too high, you won’t make enough sales and still risk losing money on the whole endeavor.

To figure out the pricing first figure out your own costs that includes:

Ø The cost of material to your product

Ø Web hosting for your eCommerce site

Ø Taxes

Ø Shipping

Ø Marketing and advertisement cost

Then figure out how much you want to add on top to pay yourself and make a profit.

6 Shipping option

Your impulse may be to pass on full cost of shipping to the client, and many online stores take same routine. Be warned! The shipping cost can have a strong mind problem on consumer and they can abandon on online purchase due to high shipping and handling problem. So choose your shipping option on eCommerce website.

7 Start selling online

Once your website is ready for the world to see, you need to drive customer to your store with marketing. It’s critical that you share your store with the masses. Check out easy way to start marketing business.
