The music business and the Mafia

One of the first victims of the links between the music business and the Mafia was Harold Logan, the longtime partner of R'n'B star Lloyd Price in Turntable Records. Logan's murdered in '69, most likely for funds borrowed from shady ventures used in operating the label & a glitzy night club by the same name, in NYC. Later, Price was a co-presenter with Don King of M. Ali's in infamous fights in Kinshasa, Zaire (against George Foreman) and Manila (against Joe Frazier) during the 70's!
