This unconscious habit we have of giving away our energy is what creates our subsequent need to steal the energy of others. This simple reality is the root cause challenge that underlies all drama, chaos and conflict. It creates the need to surround ourselves with others that exhibit the same behavior. These packs need each other but they do not like each other; they do not trust each other and they would never truly lower their walls around each other.
We can readily identify the chaos and drama energy vampires create within their organizations. Many managers do not know what to do with them. This allows them to breed and fester. Rarely do they realize how much these individuals are costing their organization by sabotaging morale, results and customer relationships. They are sucking the positive energy out of the organization, one negative remark or action at a time.
