3 Quick Tips to Create Momentum in Your Business and Life
TIP 1 - Never get comfortable with maintaining your current level. If you’re not growing, you’re dying.
TIP 2 - Change your environment often. In order to get to the next level you have to become the person that is ready for those challenges. Break any patterns blocking you from moving forward. Try, Fail, Adjust, Succeed is the pattern to learn. These reason we must be ready for change is because the world is always changing around us, and we must learn to change we needed with it.
TIP 3 - Learn from your down cycles. We all experience the down times. Instead of letting them demotivate you, learn from those experiences so you don’t keep making the same mistakes over and over again.
At times when I am stagnant in my business, yet I am in Consistent Action, these are those times when I dive deeper into Audios and Read from Top-Selling Authors. If I am not in growth at certain times, I admit I can sometimes get comfortable with it. I understand Sowing and Reaping. Yet, when I become comfortable with where I am growth-wise, I am no longer in Action mode and thus no longer sowing my seeds.
The Tip 2 is sometimes the hardest for me to personally overcome. I have a personality that usually wants to take my challenges head on. I am ready for my challenges, yet I sometimes don’t realize that the very pattern holding me back is I sometimes need to slow down before I run. What I mean by this is I need to educate myself before I run again. Always, be in productive action mode, yet stay in a learning mode to adjust to focus of action.
Here is an example of this. When I first began to blog, I was so focused on my Action, that I ignored all the education freely placed in front on me on how to market my blog. After one year of blogging, I realized that I had never set any SEO Settings on any of my Articles. I then spent almost five weeks going through all my articles updating them. This was a year of potential traffic I lost because my pattern was going to Fast. I needed to slow down and Read Tip 3. In this down cycle, I listen the tutorials on how the blog system worked, learned from my mistake, and was now ready to get back into Action. If I would had listened at the beginning, I would have saved myself a lot of stress and time.
