Are You Spending or Investing Your Time?

Recently, I had a person ask me a question that caught me off guard. This was since I was confused by the answer she wanted?  This person asked me, “Does your System work?”

Now, This person had already seen the fruit on the tree in others lives in this business, so I was confused.  I think the real question she was trying to ask was, “Will this system work for me?”

I was not able to answer this for her, since a home business system is like a home work out machine.  If a person uses it correctly, they can become very fit and healthy. Otherwise, it just takes up space in their home.

So, I had her look at it the business from my eyes at the beginning when I got started. A few years ago, I was looking for a way to create income from home. So, I was browsing the Internet for ideas.  I came across the idea of doing paid surveys.  So, for a couple of days I did paid surveys and realized that I had just got another Job, trading time for money again. Then, I found another site that would still pay me for paid surveys, yet would compound my pay if I found others to bring to them. So, now I had to find a way to find leads.

Through all my research, I came across a woman’s blog who had a link to a video was the “Funnel” to this business I am apart of now.  So, now I asked myself, “Did that Lead capture page work that day?”  Yes, I clicked on it and put in my info so I could listen to the video.  I then listened to a Entrepreneur name David Wood speak.  He shared an opportunity with me, in which I was mind-blown, and I started a new venture that day.  I also forgot all about the paid surveys.  “So, did his video work for me? Yes.”

After, I was involved. I had no idea what to do.  I opened up my site and there were step by step videos of the Core Basics of getting starting.  I set up my blog and the steps taught me how to blog.  Now, I even had an education system that I could market and would teach me how to market this company I was starting.  I plug into my audio almost daily and have my online teachings to help me along the way.

As I told the story, she realized that the blog and the education system that was teaching me to use it work hand in hand, yet only if I use them.  Just like a pair of dumbbells, you either spent money on them, or you invest money on them.

The reason I love to blog, is I can quickly sort through the people who just want to look at the “Sport Equipment” from the ones who are serious.  Once I post a blog, it now works for me 24 hours a day.
