Commitment to Balanced Spiritual Health

“Every form of life it’s enemies. Insects have to watch out for hungry birds, and birds must keep and eye on hungry cats and dogs. Even human beings have to doge automobiles and fight off germs. The life that it real also an enemy…This enemy is sin” – Warren Wiersbe, pastor and author

Commitment to Balanced Spiritual Health has four parts:

  • Connect highlights the importance of worship, prayer, and fellowship. It’s about connecting with God and with others in positive, long-lasting relationships
  • Grow is about knowing God’s Word, growing as a disciple, and seeing His Word come alive in your life daily.
  • Serve focuses on finding your place of service in the Lord’s church and exercising your spiritual gifts as the Holy Spirit empowers and guides you.
  • Go moves you outside the church walls into every part of your community and the world. It’s about taking the good news of Jesus the Christ with you wherever you go.

Warning! Watch Out For Pitfalls

  • Stay true to the commitments you make in serving God
  • Seek and follow God’s guidance in all situations
  • Courageously obey God in view of his promises
  • Believe in Jesus as Savior and worship Him as the Ruler of life
  • Regularly express gratitude to God for His providential care
  • Stay focused on fulfilling God’s purposes for you

Remember, Always, Love is a choice. You come up against many enemies everyday to love or to not love. You encounter hundreds of small choices to please your co-workers, encourage your family, and delight your Lord. That’s why love and obedience are intimately linked. You can’t have one without the other. So, Love God Above All.
