Time Management #3: Do Your Tasks in Hourly Intervals

Time Management #3: Do Your Tasks in Hourly Intervals

d1ce6306.jpg #3: Do Your Tasks in Hourly Intervals">

Another great tip of Managing your time is to know when to stop a task and start another one.聽 So, when you have a large list each day, Split your priorities into hourly intervals.

An idea may to use your timer on your phone.聽 So when your timer goes off on your phone, the hour is over.聽 If you didn鈥檛 finish the task in that hour, still move on. Finish it the next day when you have that activity scheduled again.

When you have a business the most important thing is 聽90% of these tasks are MMA or Money Making Activities.聽 For example, if you have an online business, Writing and producing content, driving online traffic and doing follow up with prospects is where your time should be spent.

Multitasking is not efficient and lessons your IQ. You should put all your focus on what ever your task at had is.聽 You will most liking finish it faster and most efficiently since it had all your focus.聽 Try to avoid distractions if possible.聽 For example, I use to listen to my audios while I was doing my MMA, but I found it was distracting. So now I listen to it while I clean or walk.聽 If possible, put your phone on silent and let your voice mail do the work for you.

The biggest time killer is email checking.聽 Your email will not make you money.聽 It is a NMMA ( non-Money Making activity). So, you should check and reply to emails at the beginning and the end of the day. Not in between. Never spend more than 30 minutes a day checking emails.

Lastly, you should set the alarm for 50 minutes on your phone.聽 This is so you can take a 10 minutes breaks.聽 It is also good to a breath of fresh air and glass of water.聽 Clear your mind, and relax for moment. Then you will be about to start at full speed on your next task without stopping again.聽

It is better to focus 100% on one task for a short period of time, even it isn't completed, than lack focus on many tasks. The reason is you will now have to repeat the task to check for errors over and over because you can't trust you own work.
