Children's Book Author in Desperate Need...
I've had a bugger of a year, writing a children's book, passing it by my agent, hearing the same story about children's books being "tough as hell to sell." My problem—among many problems—is finding an illustrator who fits my poems. Lots of great talent out there, no question. There's still that nasty little thing called "fit." I've passed a few illustrators past my agent. He's tossed out each one with all the flourish of a heretic. "I hate see and say," he says, so here I am, looking for an illustrator, a weird and wacky, childish, creative, compulsive doodler, lover of Shel Silverstein and Ralph Steadman. If that person's you, please let me know.
