Man and Beast
In my backyard, or while walking my neighborhood, I encounter all manner of man and beast. This photo-document shows some of the dogs and cats I meet and shoot with my iPhone. My neighborhood, South Tucson, Arizona, USA is tough and so are its dogs and cats. Most of the dogs are domesticated though working as Guard Dogs or participants in illegal fights. Most of the cats are feral and, the cats, usually fertile, and constantly on the prowl. Cats who live and die by the sword. Please look at the following photos to see whereof I speak.

South Tucson is a city in Pima County, Arizona, United States and an enclave of the much larger city of Tucson and known for being heavily influenced by Hispanic, especially Mexican, culture; restaurants and shops which sell traditional Mexican foods and other goods can be found throughout the city. According to the 2010 census, the population of the city is 5,652.
South Tucson has been struggling heavily with dangerously high crime rates. In most crime categories, South Tucson has higher crime rates than those of Camden, New Jersey, which is the United States’ most dangerous city. (Source: Wikipedia)
Kandi Koated Art where I work efficiently and live comfortably is a former steel mill located one block north of South Tucson. I’ve occupied this space for nearly five years and enjoy living here.
Life and Death by Sword...

Another Rat-With-Wings Terminated
Seeking his reward at my Kitchen Door
A brief respite in the mid-day sun...
While for others the hunt continues unrelenting.
