2018: Across Belief Systems
In an earlier post I wrote:
CONNECT and ENGAGE, two words associated with social media. You can’t BE on social media without these two verbs.
I was thinking of this just now as I have not been engaged (or inconsistently engaged) in the last few weeks since I have had to focus on getting through some challenges in my life OFF LINE.
Today I write:
I couldn't end off the year in silence. I needed to communicate to my community here on Social Media that, as a process oriented person, I will not resolve to be better engaged, I will solve to be better engaged. This year, I will not be making resolutions, but finding solutions.
No matter what our belief system is, the last day of December and the first day of January marks the transition from the end of the solar year to the beginning of a new one.
We exist in nature and as such, we are part of its cycles; its own measurement of time. It serves us well to pause, be in this threshold and reflect on what has taken place and anticipate what is yet to come.
Marking the cycle of our solar year is something that is part of all of us. I love celebrating this time in my own way while observing the diversity of how others choose to mark this time.
In this spirit, I wish you all a New Year ahead filled with much health, happiness and success!!
