With Q&A@beBee, I ask some of the most interesting people on this network 7 questions. The result, unedited, is the most fascinating answers. Q&A@beBee is an ongoing series that gives us the opportunity to hear and learn from, and be inspired by, some of the most successful people, as they speak for themselves!

1. What motivates you to get up in the morning?

My alarm clock (lol). Okay, seriously, I'm excited about whatever new opportunities might come along my way because one's life can change dramatically for the better on any given day -- as every day is a new beginning, as they say.

2. How do you spend the first hour of your day?

Drinking coffee, eating light breakfast, checking news headlines (print, TV, online) and social media updates.  I also check emails, work and personal, as well as step outside for some fresh air and contemplate the day ahead.

3. What are you passionate about?

I'm passionate about astronomy and cosmology for several reasons. First, most people never think about the scientific fact that the Earth is merely one infinitesimal spec of dust in one infinitesimal galaxy compared to the entire universe of hundreds of billions of galaxies, each one containing hundreds of billions of stars and planets. Second, I've always been fascinated about the question of whether there's advanced intelligent life out there in the cosmos? Third, contemplating our place in the Universe helps to put everyday problems in a much broader, profound and relative perspective. Once one realizes the Earth is said to have existed for about 4.5 billion years and the Universe about 14 billion years, it makes our perceived problems pale in comparison to the grandeur of the cosmos and the average human life span.

4. What is the most practical advice you can offer someone in business?

While I don't have a business degree and have never run my own business, I would encourage entrepreneurs to always be positive, persistent and avoid listening to the naysayers. Think big. Likewise, avoid focusing on the long odds of success and keep focusing your mind on the success having already occurred -- visualize it and feel the corresponding emotions. Also, don't forget the age-old adage that the customer is king.

5. If you had the opportunity to ask a great mind any question, what would it be?

Why are we (humans) here and what is the meaning of life?

6. Name a book that changed your life.

"How to Win Friends and Influence People" -- Dale Carnegie

7. Share a quote that inspired you.

“Whatever your mind can conceive and believe the mind can achieve." Napoleon Hill

The interesting thing for me is that the moon is positioned to help support life conditions, just as Jupiter acts as Earth's daddy and saves the life containing planet from objects colliding into it. Add to that the mathematical distance required to find the perfect sweet-spot for life to be possible does make it just as amazing as the creation of a human body. The wonder and miracle of it is sufficient for me, no matter what science and research are able to determine.

Life is just DNA having fun transforming into different things or different people. Whether in a basic RNA form or a complex DNA form, DNA has had fun replicating in environments which surely cannot merely be a result of a cosmic accident. The Moon didn't just appear there because another planet crashed into the Earth but set up a contribution for the possibility for life to occur. https://cosmosmagazine.com/geoscience/no-moon-no-magnetic-field-no-life-earth-study
