Don’t Just DO Something! Stand There… A Square Wheels Poster

I wanted to share  one of my Square Wheels Poster Images, something you can download and print by popping onto my poems and quotes blog.

The message we try to share is clear - People Need Perspective in order to see possibilities for change and improvement. You, as a manager or coach or even a parent can use the image to generate a discussion, whether it is for coaching an individual or for facilitating a group discussion about issues and opportunities. Different people see things differently and there are a broad range of themes, issues, possibilities and viewpoints.

The low res image below is loaded up as a high resolution image on the site below and a click should allow you to download. If there are any issues or problems, pop me an email at the address below and we will send it to you.

From my personal perspective in playing with organizational development issues for 40 years, this is one of the key learning lessons for leadership or for innovation or for generating shared alignment to issues of performance.

We operate on Square Wheels, and The Round Wheels are already in the wagon.

Change is not about invention but about perception and implementation. Choose to focus on continuous continuous improvement, because “The Round Wheels of Today will become the Square Wheels of Tomorrow.”

You can post this up as a discussion piece on a bulletin board or on an office door. The idea is to generate some thinking and discussions about possibilities. It IS a mind-changing tool, for sure.
