With all due respect, Stephan, since you imply there is something wrong with my questioning you about IZEA, this is why I am uncomfortable with what you've said and not said. 1) This is a direct quote from my IZEA account (yes, I have an IZEA account already) -- "Refer Your Friends Recruit other Creators and Marketers and earn a commission on their earnings or Opportunity spendings." https://app.izea.com/creator I do not question your entrepreneurial activities, but It seems to me you should disclose that you are building up earnings or potential earnings by getting writers on beBee to sign up. Could this be why you want everyone to sign up before sharing any of the further details? 2) On the Payments tab on the Finances page it says: "Deposit money from PayPal to cover plan fees, incidentals, or fund campaigns. PayPal deposits are not recurring and are subject to PayPal’s terms of use. You will be taken to PayPal to complete the transaction." https://app.izea.com/user/finances This is confirmed on the Earned vs Deposited Balance page, where it says, "Your Earned balance will reflect all the money you have earned within the platform. These are the funds that are available for you to cash out to your PayPal account. I Have been doing pretty well this past 28 years because of one gift (at birth ?) : I AM A PART OF THE SOLUTION, NOT PART OF THE PROBLEM. If you have other issues, but you don't seem to intend to use IZEA through what i witness. Be welcome to private message me, i will be most happy to redirect your claims from outside the Platform to IZEA, but frankly why would they assign a resource to someone who is not a user ? The Team expands every hours, not only on beBee, but Facebook, Twitter, followers lists, we will reach the 1K+ by tomorrow. Why, because we worked for that team to beBee beautiful and nobody forced anyone making up his/her mind an disgn up. I am currently helping each of them that gently and respectfully asked for help from USA to UK to India to anywhere in the world. So far, those who signed up, have a better insight (inside) view of what i does, how it works and what EFFORTS that have to accomplish to complete all the Izea recommended business process. I am even preparing tools and posts to leverage tools and methods to maximize the inputs that are required by the platform.

There are dozen ways to monetize any CREATORS (including writers) Talents. One is to negotiate directly with CMOs, Brand managers, community and engagement managers. And what they will do first as in any selection they will try to assess the risk to work with such or such CREATORS by running a background check and internet screening, to define behaviors and compartmental aspects of their future collaborators. The marketplace is different, the CREATORS are users so any creator can sign up for free, stay, prosper or fail and leave. That is the law of the market. And in a market, marketplaces that do not pay anyone , have troubles with the brands that pay 50 000 $ per campaign and the creators that did the job. But of course SCAMS exist...so PLEASE: SHOW US Who they were ( because they closed by now) and who are still in Progress (meaning they actually dont pay anaybody) by the time we speak.

As far as I am concern i am in the Izea Marketplace, which has 850K+ creators bidding since 2009, and as the company is still running in the Stock market...with money....brands must pay...and creators should be paid...Otherwise that is 8 years of Hypnotism. LOL. I don't work for Izea. So if you have questions, please be nice. Ask them, they don't bite. Oh Youtube is full of endavors and detractors for every platforms out there, even competition try to set doubts in potential creators's minds. Check youtube ! I thought you did. Anyone has the right to make up his own mind and he or she is a grown up! Future is for those who do, and are not waiting for the lunch to jump on the table by itself.

As you seem to like INVESTIGATING and POINTING OUT AT, please just mention for the good sake of bees here and other writers and Photographers and youtubers: WHICH platforms you have experienced that are absolutely paying peanuts (especially to writers) As you just write here: ''My personal experience with numerous writers' "marketplaces" is that almost without exception they produce virtually no income for the writers"". Because a an ethical person, you could not affirm what you just wrote , without bringing the facts, right ? So what are these Marketplaces, please a list or better a post with screenshots like Before and after with a huge gap of time + the bidding and promoting efforts that brought an absolute zero. Nice ! Phil ! If you don't purchase extra options for 1 (one dollar) $ or + . The TOS you mention do not apply. We feel sorry about skepticism and you are absolutely right to stay aside from any opportunities that do not fit your requirements. It is a pity you put the scope this way in comments. because it is first of known a free of charge platform for creators for basic services, then if you need services you can purchase it as in ANY sane business. If you would have sign up, FOR FREE, you would have discovered all the features and possibilities, not only concerning writers , but also photographers and Video directors/Youtubers. A marketplace is not dedicated to a specific disciplines and the Marketplace as you name it its primarily design for MARKETERS , which means BRANDS.

Some of the information I requested of you was indeed available from IZEA's publishes Terms & Conditions (T&C) https://app.izea.com/terms_and_conditions Which contains the following reference: 4.5. CREATOR CREDIT CARD CHARGES AND FEES If Creator enrolls in a subscription agreement or agrees to other charges to its account, Creator may be asked to provide a form of payment such as a credit card or PayPal account. Creator represents and warrants that it has the legal right to use such form of payment utilized in connection with any transaction. By submitting such information, Creator grants IZEA the right to provide such information to third parties for purposes of facilitating the completion of transactions initiated by the Creator. Creator’s non-termination or continued use of the Marketplace reaffirms that IZEA is authorized to charge Creator’s credit card for the use of the requested Marketplace Services." I could be mistaken, but it appears that, although you can create an account for free, in order to participate in what IZEA calls its "Marketplace" -- and which as far as I can see is the only pipeline for potential remuneration for writers -- THERE IS A CHARGE to the writer, whom IZEA calls a "Creator". My personal experience with numerous writers' "marketplaces" is that almost without exception they produce virtually no income for the writers. And I have yet to see any documented evidence that they do. I would be overjoyed to find one that does, and if pointed to such documentation would be more than pleased to sign up. Cheers!

Hi Phil. All the others team members figured it out by signing up into the system ( i still do not see you in the dashboard). As you fill in the several forms and add our sources for your social media accounts and various platform and data analytics about the audience, the system suggest a price tag. Usually but it depends on the sponsors offering bids, it is a CPI , and you cannot have averages since its is a case per case blogger/vlogger/photograph/youtuber etc... But to give you an bracket, my CPI varies from 1$ to 250$, it all depends of the topics vs audience, sometimes small blogs and unknown writers (like me) reach out to a high ratio of targets, because we know where and how to find them, and engage. I have been doing this for a while so my audience varies from 80K - 115K - up to my best 19M+ over the last 28 years in am in business with.

I still can't figure out, Stephan, from the IZEA website how one gets paid, nor what the stats on average revenue for writers is. Which should be available since IZEA is not a start up, but dates back to pre-2009. Your help on this is appreciated. Cheers!
