Silly Saturday: The Animal Kingdom

Silly Saturday: The Animal Kingdom

Because I published my Friday post using a Halloween theme, I had to still clear up my computer file with another Silly Saturday post! Hope you enjoy!

Silly Saturday: The Animal Kingdom

Which one is YOUR favorite today?

Many of these funnies come from Facebook pages that you can access any time you're in need of a few more good laughs. My favorites are Single Dad Laughing, I am not a grammar cop, Language Cranks Redux, Tannuzzo Copywriting, and Wrong Hands.

If you enjoyed the post and laughed at some of the pictures, I hope you'll share it with your connections, so they may laugh as well.

My previous posts can be seen here on my website, and they're easy to find because they're categorized. Just type in a word in the search box on the topic you're looking for and see what I wrote on it.

Silly Saturday: The Animal KingdomDo the associates in your company look and sound as smart as they are? They would if they could take one of my Brush Up on Your Skills workshops right where they work. If your company hires outside experts to teach any topic to its associates, please share my posts and website with your Human Resources or Training Manager.

I offer free generic Brush Up on Your Skillsworkbooks in a pdf format in American grammar, business writing, and interpersonal skills. They show what I teach in my three-hour corporate classes.

Want one? Let me know which one, and please send me your email address. I will not use it for any other purpose. Honest!

Thanks for a laugh, @Susan Rooks. I like the smart dog/dumb dog, marine animal, and cat magnet best.

I made a dogged, indeed furocious attempt to arrive at an appropriate response to this collection (congress?). I wanted to carve out a niche of my own, but being less than well-rested left me pretty much empty-handed.

I enjoyed them all. Brightened up a dull Saturday.
Incidentally Susan on several of your posts all the comments have disappeared. I'm told how many there should be but there are none. It happens on both LinkedIn and beBee.

Life wouldn't be complete without a couple of "Tom Swifties" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Swifty (... a phrase in which a quoted sentence is linked by a pun to the manner in which it is attributed.")

Here's one of my own (I think) invention:
"It's raining. Get under the tarp immediately," Tom said, intently.

These are all hilarious, Susan, but Soldier Squirrel takes the honours for me. Looks like he's well ahead since he's already got the first prize in his hands. Also, from now on, I'll be checking the fridge carefully next time I want a drink of squash. 🐱
