Sneek-Peek into Being an Entrepreneur!

Each day many write about entrepreneurship and how startups can grow and flourish.

Today though I am going to share the sneak peak in what it is for me to be an Entrepreneur.

Sneek-Peek into Being an Entrepreneur!

My journey began when I was in the last year of my B.Tech (engineering) , back then my parents wanted me to pursue further with M.Tech and enter into research industry.

By all means which I did not ignore I went ahead and worked for a period of 06 months in the field of research on Breast Cancer and Leukemia and had my theses on my work on Breast cancer submitted. As a student who had internships in done in genetics and agricultural biotech, it was not difficult for me to find a mentor who would work with me for research.

But my mind was drifting in a different direction.

Like one has said

Don’t go where Life takes you. Go where you want to.

I had a dream, a dream of being an entrepreneur and having my own business but sitting around doing nothing about it but dreaming would never have let me bring it to reality.

Today I can at least say I’m on my journey and working things out or say figuring things out as I go ahead.

Being an Entrepreneur is hard it's a lot of work but I’m a Dreamer who has a vision and I love working on it!

The work from leading and strategizing for the business to managing yourself with your team is not an easy task but has a fun of its own. The team bonding brings all the people together by encouraging collaboration and teamwork.

The journey of switching from the path I was on to the path I chose to go ahead with was difficult especially when you have people doubting you.

But it is all about believing in yourself.

It’s been six years and still it is all about proving who I am, maybe because I am not a well know name or there is no device to measure the extent of my success I have my mother sometimes suggesting me to take my steps behind and apply for a job as per my qualification.

Or sometimes when I endorse my friends from my Engineering college for the skills listed on their Linkedin account they ask me did I get a job with the same skill.

It hurts when people close to you act like this but we cannot change the way one thinks.

I believe in my dreams and work hard for them.

I have learned to manage my stress by changing my mind and focusing on my work but that doesn’t end there just like the negative energy can sink in same goes for the positive energy too! My dose of Optimism comes from my support my life line my dear husband who is always there for me and I love him for that.

One must remember it is important for an entrepreneur to keep going because the light at the end of the tunnel is the achievement of his dream.

Every day in some way or the other I rediscover my passion for what I'm pursuing, my strength in tough situations, and my resilience when there's an obstacle which helps me feel good.

I believe giving up is very easy, but staying true to your dream and fighting against all the odds to get what you want gives a joy of its own it is a feeling which can't be explained in words.

If I have to say about my plan, of course, the small developments and the small goals I have accomplished so far have helped me realize the fruit of your own hard work is the sweetest.

These baby steps taken each day will help to achieve the Climb I am aiming for!

I am thankful to those who stopped by. This is just me sharing some thoughts from my Diary simply because:

The value of emotion comes from sharing them, not just having them.
Cheers to our Dreams with Vision!

An entrepreneurship journey is a series of highs and lows. We just have to make sure that it is a progression of higher highs and higher lows. But as your mother says, it's always nice to have something to fall back on. Loved this buzz.
