My translation of an Italian song

In my new blog, http://isobeyan.blogspot.be/, I will collect some translations of mine -- mainly songs, sometimes poems. Rather than providing a perfectly faithful translation, I will try to preserve the original "structure", meaning, or objective, of the original texts. Thus in the case of songs, I will try to recreate a text that can be sung in the co-domain language. I hope one day someone is going to actually use my translations -- if so, I would just ask in return to receive a copy of the resulting artefacts!

This is

Other Forms Of Life
(( "Altre Forme Di Vita" (M. Castoldi) (Bluvertigo) YouTube / Lyrics ))

A very clever man
he sat, put on his glasses
and then made a distinction
Between animal beings
And vegetable beings

In eighth grade I find out
that kingdoms, there are five
And that in turn they’re made of
extremely different genres and species

If the flowers did not exist, would you be able to imagine 'em?
If the fish did not exist, would you be able to imagine them?
In other areas of this universe
(It's easy to understand it)
There exist all the things and beings that I can’t yet imagine – it

is
in practice clear and obvious
That there exist some other forms of life My translation of an Italian song

It’s
Virtually clear and obvious
That there exist some other forms of life

Today I woke up late
And now it all seems so strange to me
That we are the only beings
Generated by chance
This’s a little selfish
And not very imaginative
Perhaps a little Catholic
And very much not funny
Very presumptuous -- very much confining!

If there were actually no mushrooms, would you be able to imagine them?
If there existed no algae, would you be able to imagine them?

The stars that I am able to see
They are a very small percentage
There exists everything that I as yet am not able to imagine

It’s
Virtually clear and obvious
That there exist some other forms of life – it

Is
in practice clear and obvious
That there exist some other forms of life

#6 You don't need to appologize my dear friend @Vincenzo De Florio. It is great to hear from you at any time.
Subtly you mention "One of the tragedies of the present times is probably having introduced artificial boundaries between beautiful domains". Yes, and I say without being unscientific this is true. Einstein emphasized imagination and observation more than the brain. I find personalities deprived of internal beauty are unable to see and enjoy the beauty surrounding them. It is not only the beauty of nature, but also of music, poetry arts and the way disciplines integrate. Being a fractal personality, hhhow could we have not observed the fractal mountains, trees, clouds, coasts, and the fractal human body and fractal old designs.
Yes, I tend to say poetry and science reinforce each other for poetry feed our imagination.

#5 First of all, I need to apologize for my late reply dear friend @Ali 🐝 Anani, Brand Ambassador @beBee -- I have not been much on BeBee lately, thus I didn't realize you had shared my post and mentioned me here! Many thanks for your kindness and patience, dear friend. Re: your interesting question: I cannot tell for sure of course -- it would unscientific otherwise; but my feeling is that an attention to poetry, the humanities in general, and to divine Music, might be an essential component of any creative soul. I have recently read the Life of Pythagoras by Iamblichus; there one learns how central were music and art in a Pythagorean's life. One of the tragedies of the present times is probably having introduced artificial boundaries between beautiful domains. Luckily each of us can define their own 'models', and avoid falling into this trap. Many thanks dear friend for your lovely and intriguing question!

If the birds didn't exist would be able to imagine them?
A great translation and embedded questions. Thank you @Vincenzo De Florio for this great sharing. A great researcher like you has passion of poetry.
I have a question- can a researcher be creative without enjoying poetry? My answer is that I doubt it.

#3 I certainly like the late and great Gerry Raffety. The name CityVP originally was meant to signify my role as VP of Education for City Centre Toastmasters. At the time I expected to be with the club for many years, so I opened up about 23 media sites with the CityVP prefix. Then circumstances took me down a different path and I left the club. Now I had to work out what I was going to do with 23 sites all branded with "CityVP" - and so I decided to keep all of them and at that time beBee was not anywhere on my radar. Reality of life is we start on one purpose and often end up on a totally different wicket.

The mathematical possibility of life tells me that this math is just as likely playing out in countless parts of the universe. Separations in time and space have not yet been bridged and some physcists contemplate there to be planes or dimensions of the universe that are as myriad as the stars we can never count.
