C-ASTRAL Aerospace presents #drone Bramor ppX
C-ASTRAL Aerospace based in Ajdovscina, Slovenia, has launched the new #drone in the US market, the Bramor ppX-LRS (Long Range Solar), developed jointly with Alta Devices, a solar cell thin film manufacturer from Sunnyvale, (USA).
The system has a flight capability of 3.5 hours extending up to 5.5 hours in the solar power version and can carry a wide range of various advanced sensors ranging from visible light to advanced multispectral, hyperspectral and gas laser sensors capable of detecting 0.05 ppm of methane gas in the air above areas of interest and also prepared for aerial photogrammetry, topography, agricultural mapping, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance.
The new ppX is complemented by a software package C3P (Command, Control, Communications and Planning) for mission planning and flight control, intuitive control of systems, management and maintenance system on line.
The C-ASTRAL ppX UAS system can also fly in BVLOS format and gas pipeline monitoring missions at distances up to 185 km. Due to their resilience and performance, C-ASTRAL systems have been chosen in the United States and Europe for testing and research on UTM (Unmanned Traffic Management) solutions and the company is also establishing a support and distribution network in US markets And Canada as part of its business development strategy.
