How does on study politics without becoming political?

From the Political to Humbling Reflective ThinkingThe one area that is difficult to learn from is the political, so up-to know I have relegated it to my Black Hive, but as the Black Hive is developing it is increasingly building up a human dimension, the dark side of reality and the side of life that cannot be wiped away with "positive thinking".  So the question for me was, how do I engage politics without being political?  Everybody expresses a political opinion, even if it is about being positive - the belief that we should be positive once spoken as a part of a movement of positive talk is a political constituency.

If I want to get good at political speech, I have the gray hive and here it isn't politics that is studied, but the form communication takes in order to be delivered as a message.  That comes down to the art of crafting speech.

The Harvard Crimson

I have not added to my hives because I took a dormant hive previously called International and have changed it to Crimson.  The international hive was meant for me to study the life of international students as I worked with a college group called the International Students Association.  Nothing came of it and in any relationship there has to be a two way flow, so it is that I can now start to think about what it means to be a Crimson Learner.  With the creation of the Crimson hive I have adjusted definitions across three other hives.  I look forward to a learning journey where I get a better understanding of politics rather than offer opinions that are political.
