Digital Transformation
What I initially thought was one document shared through a LinkedIn posting from Simon Chan, was through a subsequent comment by John Laban transformed into a far richer set of links that over the years has produced a whole series of very detailed documents that were centered on the phrase "Digital Transformation". It is an interesting idea though it is not always the case that an interesting idea transforms into practical wisdom. Where I was prepared to set aside time to read one of these documents - in my case I had linked to what turns out to be issue #04, now I see that the subject scope is far greater than I had conceived. These are not small pamphlets, PDF page counts are from 50 to 90+ pages.

There is an aspect of digital transformation that has nothing to do with digital technology but the mindset of how digital fits into the whole. That is a much more difficult proposition to comprehend because many technology failures can be related to a failure in thinking holistically - and in thinking holistically to see how all of this integrates. This much I understood when I became aware of the thoughts of the late and great Russell Ackoff."

It is the actuality of integration that has made the Earth a living planet, but our brains fit in the size of our palm and so the good news is that in terms for room for appreciation, the opportunity for humanity is limitless. That is what I would refer to as "renaissance".
