The Position General/Technical Director is open in an International Industrial Company.

Location: Kaluga region

Your responsibilities

- You will be the managing director of International Company subsidiary in Russia
- You will be responsible for the strategic development, financial performance, operative business and administration of the service location in Kaluga with approx. 75 employees
- You will be maintaining existing customer relationships as well as expanding partnerships within the automotive industry
- You will be driving project development and services for car body and powertrain assembly lines with major OEMs in Russia as well as sustaining excellent service business in our customers body in white lines
- You will be in charge of the whole value chain from customized engineering and design, via supplier management to project team execution and ensuring on-site assembly and lifetime services
- You have a direct reporting line to the Head of Service Europe and you ensure international exchange and cooperation with our Execution-/Service- and Tech-Centers and regions within the Company
- You will take over full responsibility for the subsidiary and ensure the controlling and reporting of branch operations and results
- You will be the coach of a highly motivated team and develop their skillset to serve our customers and sustain our local business

Your profile

- You hold at least a Master’s degree or its equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Production or Automation, Technology or related discipline; professional qualification/certification in project- or performance management is an advantage
- You have a minimum of five years of relevant experience as a General and Technical Director in the automotive industry, including the following specific areas: project business, sales knowledge, strategic development, automotive manufacturing technology and/or automotive service/maintenance business, mechanical engineering or other related areas; preferable is a knowledge of the automotive industry in Russia
- You have a strong business service orientation and demonstrate a systematic, conceptual and goal-oriented approach to work
- You are able to build effective relationships inside and outside the organization, promote collaboration and deal constructively with tight deadlines as well as working in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect and the ability to build trust and provide consultancy to different stakeholders
- You have the ability to write and communicate effectively in Russian and English, knowledge of German is an advantage
- You are willing to travel up to 20% internationally
