Responsible for smooth running of bar service from open to close. This includes being tasked frequently by management to organise logistics for private parties that take place in the bar. This involves liaising with the customer to understand their needs and ensuring that each request is arranged accordingly. The feedback consistently from our groups is they felt well catered for, with many of them returning to the restaurant for repeat sittings. Utilised social media skills to assist management with online presence development for platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. Developed new skills including inventory management and ability to estimate demand according to seasonal trends and popularity, and maintain appropriate stock to avoid excess or insufficient stock levels. Gained valuable customer service skills by engaging with clientele and always providing excellent service.
January 2018 - May 2018
Successfully completed a four month long internship, which involved full immersion in the LotusWorks Marketing department, to help assist with achieving team goals in areas including data analytics. Successfully managed and led a project helping to develop LotusWorks' social media and data analytics reporting. Carried out by developing an excel document of social media engagement figures following up with suggestions on how their overall social media presence could be improved. This document is to be used as a template for future reporting, being updated quarterly to inform the company’s social media strategy going forward. Supported the teams in the development of a more user friendly and modern online staff platform which was successfully launched in May 2018. Taking into account employee feedback on current portal, improvements included updated branding, a new digital time logging system and improved security in line with GDPR regulations.
