A leap sideways to qualify as a Personal Trainer! I always loved sport and fitness. During 2012 I worked as Duty Manager for a local health club which gave me the confidence to go freelance at the start of 2013. I continue to work with clients alongside building my video coaching business online.

Established Trahenna to provide professional multimedia services. Working with clients in all sectors, communication and media skills were utilised with great success to help organisations promote and market their goods and services. Developed and delivered a series of Crisis Communication and Media Training sessions in the UK and Dubai for Senior Executives and Hotel Managers from around the globe. This was in conjunction with the world’s leading hotel group. Commissioned to present a one-off programme proposal on ‘Parenting’ – a five part series on BBC Radio Scotland (March 2010), which was extremely well received.

Responsible for the development and implementation of a Communications, Marketing and Events strategy for SBC, Scotland’s leading organisation in Corporate Social Responsibility. Worked alongside the CEO, SBC Board and Executive Team to develop a short and long term strategy for the continuing success and growth of SBC. This included a network of 8 offices, operating throughout Scotland and alignment with Business in the Community, which operates from London. Charged with instigating, developing and leading SBC’s Rural Programme in Scotland. This involved building a team of senior business leaders to drive the CSR agenda in rural Scotland. Also, regular communications with Clarence House and the management of high level events attended by SBC President, HRH Prince Charles, alongside senior business leaders and community representatives.

Researched, co-produced and presented a weekly magazine programme, Eikon, for STV and Grampian Television. The programme investigated moral, social and religious current affairs in an open and challenging way. Eikon proudly worked as the broadcast media partner for CHAS during their first major campaign to build Rachel House.
