This is a re-advertisement of an advert posted 15.10-05.11.19, vacancy number 050000, previous applicants need not apply.
Flexible working, job share or part-time applicants would be considered.
We are seeking to recruit a driven and enthusiastic Laboratory and Finance Manager for the Centre for Inflammation Research (CIR) and Child Life and Health (CL&H) for a one year Maternity Cover post starting 01 February 2020. The post-holder will manage the day-to-day activities of a defined laboratory area within the Centre for Inflammation Research at the Queen's Medical Research Institute and provide finance management and administration for Child Life and Health, a laboratory and teaching space within the Sick Children’s Hospital.
A key role of this post is the co-ordination of the relocation of Child Life and Health from the old to the new Sick Children's Hospital. In addition there will be move planning for the move of the CIR to its new location in the Centre for Tissue Repair Building as part of the new Institute for Regeneration and Repair.
As this is a maternity cover post with only a brief overlap with the current post-holder, a detailed understanding and working experience of laboratory and office relocations and change management would be hugely beneficial. We provide an exciting and friendly environment to work in and the University has a range of supportive and flexible working policies to suit almost all requirements. This position is an excellent opportunity to join our teams as we expand as part of the new Institute for Regeneration and Repair.
