Your new firm
You will be working with a highly regarded and well established firm of accountants based just outside St Helens town centre.
This general practice offer a range of services to their clients inclusive of payroll, tax, accounting and bookkeeping and they are now looking to appoint a Semi Senior to their successful team .
Your new role
As a Semi Senior at the firm you will be responsible for the preparation of statutory accounts for a range of clients including limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
You will be required to prepare the corporation tax and VAT returns for the clients and liaise with them on a daily basis.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this role, you must have experience working within an accountancy firm for at least three years previously and be AAT qualified or studying towards it.
You should be able to produce final sets of accounts through to Partner review, working to UK reporting standards and you will be up to date on the latest UK legislation in regards to tax.
What you'll get in return
In return this firm are able to offer a competitive salary of between £18,000
- £24,000 and a comprehensive benefits package which can include study for the right individual for AAT or ACCA/ ACA.
You will be entitled to 28 days holiday and the firm have parking on site.
This role can be undertaken on either a part or full time basis.
