Brewster Partners are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Administrator to work in a customer-focused team, managing customer accounts that have fallen into arrears. It’s a high level customer service position with accompanying admin duties so we’re looking for someone self-motivated with strong organisation and planning skills. The role is based in Doncaster.

The job


The job involves general office administration duties specificto accounts of members ofthe public that have fallen into arrears and need close management. Duties include:


- Management of customer contract information
- Collection and negotiation of fees that have accrued on customer accounts
- Accurate banking of monies received
- Dealing with customer complaints and general queries
- Ensuring all accounts are maintained by customer direct debits along with management of all direct debit errors / returns
- Processing of customer contracts in line with company policies and procedures
- Liaising with business customers regarding the outcome of quotations
- Negotiating with business customers to ensurethe quotations is compliant
- Processing documents received that need to be paid out
- Calculating of contract fees
- Undertaking database checks for issues that may occur when processing new contracts and checkingfor fraud
- Logging all details on the internal system
- Work towards team internal targets based on collection of arrears
- Relationship management of existing accounts to ensure that customer arrears are resolved swiftly
- Managing and taking ownership of a caseload of customer accounts
- Preparing customer account files
- Liaise with external agents re accounts that are in arrears to manage collection and termination
- Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required The person


To be successful in your application you need to be able to demonstrate


- Excellent customer service and administration skills
- Previous experience in a customer focused environment
- Demonstrable experience of working within a structured process
- Excellent IT Skills (MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
- The ability to work well as part of a team DESIRABLE


- Knowledge of regulations relating to Compliance, Data Protection, Anti Money Laundering, Consumer Credit Directive and Consumer Credit Act
- Previous experience in a collections or underwriting position The benefits
