Art Teacher Specification

Art teacher: We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Art teacher. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching Art and have the ability to pass this on to their students, as well as the ability to improve attainment in this area.

This is a full time Art school teaching position starting in September 2019.

This is a great school which aims to develop all pupils' talents and abilities, both academic and social. The OFSTED report notes particularly that it is "harmonious and inclusive", referencing its special facilities for the visually impaired. To help pupils to fulfil their potential they are set challenging goals, which they then review regularly in collaboration with staff and parents. The school day is longer than the national average, and pupils work hard both academically and socially, making a positive contribution to their community.

This school is looking for an Art teacher who is confident in their ability to engage with and inspire pupils to achieve above and beyond the expected levels.

Candidates must be fully qualified Art school teacher with excellent classroom practices and a love of teaching.
