XPO Logistics are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join our Head Office team based at our sites in Swan Valley, Northampton. You’ll be responsible for the balance sheet for our consolidated invoice suspense account along with reconciling and recharging our sites across the UK and Ireland.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £23,000 per annum. We offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
Maintaining the balance sheet suspense account
Recharging costs to the P&L journal
Being the main point of contact for our site accountants and financial controllers
Liaising with suppliers to request back-up information to support invoices
What you need to succeed at XPO:
A part qualified ACCA/ CIMA accountant (foundation levels complete)
Articulate communication skills with the confidence to communicate at all levels
Great excel skills and your attention to detail will be meticulous
