We're looking for an Assistant Director to join our Structured Finance team in Leeds

Joining our top-tier Structured Finance team in Leeds, you'll be part of a team with a strong culture which has created the right work environment forming the platform for our bold business objectives

You'll be playing your part in the execution and delivery of funding solutions to help businesses with their growth objectives in both the corporate and private equity markets

Working with the best businesses across the North of England from fast growth SMEs to large corporates, you’ll have the opportunity to hone your technical and interpersonal skills building trusted relationships with clients and professionals

While the role will be based in our Corporate offices in Leeds, you'll have responsibility for working on transaction opportunities from right across the North of England

What you'll do


You'll be working with and building lasting relationships with existing and prospective clients, private equity houses, professional intermediaries and internal colleagues right across the bank.


In the course of your work you'll be:

Preparing high quality credit papers and conducting financial and non-financial analysis

Scoping and reviewing due diligence reports and undertaking financial modelling

Supporting the team with the origination of deal opportunities for a range of clients from fast growth SMEs to large corporates

Contributing to the project management of deal processes, from deal origination and participating in management pitches, through to transaction execution

The skills you'll need


We're looking for someone with lots of motivation to join us in this role. While banking experience could be beneficial, we offer excellent structured training, coaching and mentoring opportunities to enable you to be successful and achieve your full potential.


You'll either already possess the Certificate in Lending Skills, or we'll support you to complete it within 12 months of starting this role.
