Assistant Financial Accountant | Reading | Full Time

Our Hospital Support Centre is a shared service centre based in central Reading with excellent transport links. Hosting a number of different teams including finance, HR an IT; we provide first class training and this role would be an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to begin a career in finance/accounts.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Reconciling and maintaining balance sheet accounts

Maintaining the general ledger, preparing journal entries and reviewing accruals & prepayments

Assisting with monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements

Undertaking variance analysis and taking responsibility for the interrogation of data


Who we’re looking for:

Part-Qualified/Qualified Accountant

Excellent Excel skills

Previous experience working in a financial accounts team

Excellent communication skills
