Brand Manager (Hands-on, Creative, Storytelling)

We are looking for a highly creative hands-on branding expert to create compelling stories and messaging across all channels and to further develop Caxton's brand presence amongst key decision makers and target markets.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced digital brand marketing professional ideally with financial services or travel industry background, to join us this summer and make an impact in transforming our brand.

Key Responsibilities

- Create powerful stories and messaging across channels to drive a consistent brand experience
- Develop Caxton's brand presence and strength amongst key decision makers and target markets
- Re-energise the brand architecture and associated brand values
- Identity the brand proof points and pain points for amplification and removal
- Create a brand strategy and operating plan to achieve agreed brand management KPIs
- Develop Caxton's sub brands where appropriate
- Develop product and service stories and key messaging to influence customers
- Build brand awareness, consideration and engagement and effective measurement
- Create compelling brand campaigns, strategic and tactical
- Identify influencers and brand spokespeople to drive reach and influence
- Step change the impact of social media on reach and referral
- Increase referral and advocacy rates
- Ensure the correct customer insights and user feedback are in place and tracked
- Monitor brand health and perceptions
- Deliver a stunning cross channel visual identity and consistency across channels
- Identify sponsorship opportunities
- Develop the ATL plan to drive awareness and consideration
- Ensure a content plan exists to maximise brand reach across channels
- Manage variety of agencies and seek leading edge thinking
- Ensure internal alignment and engagement with the brand stories
- Develop the brand guidelines and identity
- Identify best practice and replicate where appropriate

Skills & Experience

- At least 8+ years' experience in Marketing with at least 5 years in Brand Management focused on both B2C and B2B environments
- Experience in transforming or reinvigorating brands
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Proven ability to use customer insights to drive brand strength and create brand stories
- Highly creative and write outstanding stories and copy
- Experience in ATL, sponsorship, events, social media, brand monitoring
- Comfortable in a digital and more traditional media environments
- Budgetary management experience
- Evidence of using content and social media to drive brand engagement and health
- Experience in digital marketing in financial services and/or travel & tourism sector would be a distinct advantage, alternatively an interest in financial services.
- Good influencing and communication skills to forge effective relationships with key stakeholders and third-party suppliers
- Results driven mindset and a proven ability to digest and understand customer insight
- Self-motivated, hands on and strategic and able to work under own initiative with ambitious hunger to succeed in an exciting role within a fast-growing fin-tech company

Working Hours and Office Environment:

- Office in a central location in Victoria, just off Cathedral Walk- with cafes, restaurants, and shops on our doorstep
- Office-based, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm with one hour for lunch per day
