Position: Major Tasks

1. With guidance from Line Manager, develop strategic plans for the assigned brand(s), including brand stretch strategies and NPD.

2. Develop and implement the brand planning process and activation to ensure successful adaptation to changing environmental pressures and business needs, to guarantee financial objectives are met

3. Monitor brand performance on ongoing basis and manage P&I budget for assigned brand(s). Propose activity to maximise strengths / opportunities and address threats / weaknesses

4. Co-ordinate relevant branded qualitative & quantitative research as and when required.

5. Fully comply with corporate governance requirements and internal/external regulations as required

6. Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns (including social media, brand website, search engine optimisation) in collaboration with digital agency

7. Support identified Brand initiatives to increase the level of Brand Engagement with Retail Customers

8. Building and maintaining a collaborative relationship with relevant Global Bayer Stakeholders

Position: Skills

Education to degree level or a marketing qualification

Previous brand management experience gained in FMCG or OTC Strong commercial acumen, including ability to work with complex figures and multiple information sources

Strong influencing and interpersonal skills

Strong communication skills are essential

Some prior experience of managing mediabuying may be required

PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft packages required

A track record of New Product Development would be advantageous
