The principal role of the postholder is to take responsibility, as a case officer for processing, administering and determining submissions made under The Building (Scotland) Acts and associated legislation to ensure that the health, safety and welfare of people in and around buildings is protected and to promote the conservation of fuel and power in accordance with the Council’s statutory obligations.

Development and Environment Services remit includes; building standards (control), structure and local planning, development quality (control), environmental & development planning, economic development, transportation planning, roads maintenance, transportation and public transport, environmental health & community safety, trading standards, & licensing, energy and sustainability.


Requirements You will be required to undergo a disclosure check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Clackmannanshire Council andthe cost of this check which will be deducted from your salary.
