Edwards & Pearce have partnered with our client on an exclusive basis to recruit an experienced Business Administration Manager.

The Business Administration Manager role is a newly created role following recent restructure. The role will have full responsibility for all the administration teams across the Trust and will offer PA support to the CEO.

Our client has a fascinating history dating back over 190 years and to this day continues to be recognised as a national centre of excellence in the field of specialist education for deaf and autistic children and young people. The Doncaster Deaf Trust delivers high quality education and care through its Nursery, School, Care Home, College and Student Residential accommodation. The Trust continues to enjoy close links to 15 different European countries through a variety of European Projects centred on the international development of sign language.

Edwards & Pearce are very excited to be working with our client on an exclusive basis to recruit an experienced Business Administration Manager. (All CV's will be forwarded to our office for short-listing)

This is a newly created position identified as an essential role in the latest phase of the ongoing strategic development of the Trust. The Business Administration Manager will report directly to the Executive Principal and will primarily be responsible for managing the various administrative functions that operate across the Trust.
In addition to this key responsibility, the post holder will also manage the day-to-day administration for the Executive Principal's office.
The Business Administration Manager will initially be responsible for the re-design of the current administrative function that will encompass new, innovative and creative working practices whilst engaging with the established administrative teams to develop an efficient, enjoyable and modern working environment that meets all the business objectives.

As an experienced Administration Manager with a proven track record for managing change in a business administration environment, you will lead on the day-to-day management of this critical function whilst identifying areas to improve and streamline admin processes across the Trust.

The ideal candidate will be a pro-active forward-thinking individual with excellent communication skills who is capable of making a positive contribution to the change management process.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate an ability to self-manage their own schedule of work as well as being an exemplary team player.
Essential skills
Excellent IT skills and fully proficient with all Microsoft suite applications
A proven background in developing, creating and managing successful administration functions is essential.
An innovative manager who can successfully demonstrate proven experience of developing modern and highly efficient working practices delivered across a wide-ranging admin function.
Desirable skills
Degree level qualification in business administration, office management or related field
