9 month contract job for an experienced Business Change Manager to work on a Geospatial Data platform .

Your new role
Joining a project that is designing and delivering a complex geospatial big data platform to handle the vast quantities of data that this client owns. There is a growing requirement to understand the data landscape and deliver that to both internal and external customers in new and inspiring ways. The solution is a Cloud based solution founded upon leading edge technologies and methodologies that enable the system to scale and distribute spatial processing across a system. Such a new, fundamental platform requires new operational processes to be designed and implemented. Key activities that you will look after include :- - Business Process Identification
- Training Needs Analysis
- Change Impact Assessment
- Stakeholder Engagement Strategy

What you'll need to succeed
An experienced Business Change Manager - you will be able to develop and agree the Stakeholder Matrix. Undertake Business Change Impact Assessments. Create and implement a plan to minimise business impacts. Quickly understand the Organisation Structure and identify and recommend any changes to this. Work with HR to define new roles and responsibilities. You will be able to identify and assign: Data Curator, Data Asset Owners, Data Stewards and ensure compliance with Data Governance & policies (e.g. GPDR, PII, FOI, etc). Work with Operations, Engineering, Service Desk etc to prepare readiness for go live. Change Authority Board etc. Identify stakeholders and understanding their training needs. Create a training plan and training material and make sure the plan is executed. Create Stakeholder communications strategy and plan. Create communications content. Execute communication plan and strategy and maintain the plan and strategy as needs change.

What you'll get in return
A 9 month contract is offered. Please note this role is deemed in scope of IR35 by the client.
