Business Development Executive

Home Based Ideally be based in the Midlands Area.

Basic Salary £28,000 with travel across the UK

Our client a leading professional body is now seeking a Business Development Executive to cover the UK. You will be based from home living in the Midlands.

The Role

To carry out professional development, sales and marketing activities aimed at the recruitment, migration and retention of institute Members throughout industry, the armed forces and academia across the UK, with a particular focus on those studying or in their early careers.

Key Duties

Work to achieve membership and activity targets using KPIs as defined by your manager
Develop relationships with employers, training providers and academia
Focus on building engagement with professionals at engineering technician, apprentice, student and graduate levels
Make membership presentations to potential and migrating members of the Institution
Provide 1-2-1 and workshop support to encourage professional registration and membership

Key Experience Required

Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt your communication style to suit your audience

A full, valid driving licence with no more than six points

It would also be an advantage if you have experience of working in a membership organisation. An interest or experience in engineering OR career in professional development would also be favourable.

Travel across all parts of the UK will be required, with the expectation of some overnight stays where necessary. This is a national role across the UK and Northern Ireland
