Our client based in Lancing is looking to recruit a Business Development Executive to generate new business and cross and upsell the client's portfolio.

As a Business Development Executive your responsibilities will be:

Understand and meet a monthly 'New Business' and 'Existing Business' sales target
Pass all sector leads to appropriate department; mobiles, IT, systems
Provide regular accurate sales forecasts
Actively promote the client's portfolio (products/services)
Follow up on all referrals and leads
Ability to discuss Lines and Calls, Telephone Systems, Leased Line, IP Telephony and Office 365, IT Support, BCDR, Antivirus confidently
Planning and calling new prospects and developing new opportunities
Scheduling meetings with decision makers
Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries, ensuring customers receiving quotes and orders are processed
Maintaining clear customer records on company CRM (Autotask) and provide accurate information to customers and colleagues
Listening to customer requirements, creating detailed proposal documents and presenting appropriately to close 'the sale'
Meeting/exceeding personal sales targets and driving both business growth and reputation
Working closely with various departments within the company
Full product training; the Company will support you to learn and develop your knowledge of our Telecoms products, and give you the confidence to provide


Previous sales experience is essential (B2B)
Excellent communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work cross functionally and interact confidently with multiple stakeholders (both internal and external)
Ability to network effectively, develop and close opportunities
Proven track record in achieving new business targets and exceed KPI's
Natural flair for delivering high levels of Customer Service and build strong client relationships
Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, manage time effectively and work to tight deadlines
Team player - understand the importance of collaborative working
Excellent IT skills and confident using CRM systems (Autotask), proficient in MS Office packages
Capacity to flourish in a competitive environment
Excellent attention to detail achieving high levels of accuracy

The Benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:30, 1-hour unpaid lunch
