CAM Applications Engineer £25,000-£35,000 + Bonus + Bens - Oxford

Growing from strength to strength this Solutions provider is looking for an additional CAM Application Engineer to join their Manufacturing Engineer team and support the company in their portfolio. Using your knowledge to aid the encouragement of CAM usage, you will deliver demonstrations and conduct on-site consultancy to a customer base of 12,000 companies

The CAM Application Engineers job description:

- Develop customer relationships and gain an advantage as you will work to understand their needs and translate into solutions that deliver real business benefits
- Work with existing technical support team to identify, create and deliver solutions to suit a wide range of industries in their specific needs
- Aid in the company in their mission to increase the usage of CAM by delivering pre-sales demonstrations and contract innovative on-site consultancy and classroom training courses
- Work on the support desk to resolve specific issues with a string customer focus
- Work to deliver exceptional customer service when troubleshooting or installing company products

The Cam Application Engineers experience/skills:

- A minimum of 3 years working within the CAM engineering Industry
- A proven sales record of achieving targets
- Have previous hands-on CNC Machining and CAM experience
- Previous experience handling installations, managing or operating the CNC production process improvement s as both Hardware and software systems (Machines, CAM/DNC)
- Knowledge around the troubleshooting of machinery and production beyond CNC and CNC Programming, production engineering, work holding, tooling and machining strategies
- Knowledge of CAMWORKS and SolidCAM alongside experience of various CNC machine controllers and machine communications
