About Capital & Liquidity Solutions
Capital and Liquidity Solutions (CLS) is a division of Financial Resource Management (FiRM) focusing on the capital returns of our client base across BI businesses. CLS works in partnership with Senior Relationship Management, Banking, Portfolio Management, Markets Distribution and Trading to evaluate the needs of our clients whilst ensuring optimal value generation for our shareholders. The group owns the calculation of client relationship returns in the Investment Bank delivered through a suite of technology platforms to support wider business decision making.  The team also works in close partnership with Corporate Bank, PBOS, Barclaycard, Treasury, Finance and IT colleagues to drive strategic and tactical solutions.  

What will you be doing?
• This is a Vice President role in the Capital and Liquidity Solutions team. The individual will be working as part of a team to develop a coherent strategy for improving the returns of our institutional and corporate client base in the light of complex regulatory, commercial and organisational constraints, and helping to design and build the policies and toolset to implement this strategy.
• Identify opportunities for new client and portfolio insights through use of statistical analysis, artificial intelligence or machine learning, developing proof-of-concept solutions against these for socialisation and review 
• Work with partners in Markets, Banking, Corporate Banking, Barclaycard, PBOS and Infrastructure in order to implement and track capital optimisation initiatives
• Contribute to the development of best in class client insights dashboard by working with FiRM

What we’re looking for:
• Experience of working across Risk, Finance, Structuring or capital management space
• Strong understanding of financial metrics (P&L, MtM, LBS, RWAs, funding) and risk metrics
• Strong track record in prising actionable insights from large and complex financial data sets
• Good grasp of regulatory Basel frameworks
• Experience of developing tools (pricing/reporting/scenario analysis/analytics) to support decision making
• Hands-on experience of manipulating/transforming/processing large data sets using SQL or similar technologies
• Experience of other programming languages, e.g. Python, R, SAS etc.

Skills that will help you in the role:
